Summary:

  • City of Toronto detached home prices have been rising YoY in excess of 20% since mid-2016
  • The Ontario Fair Housing Plan, announced on April 20, has caused a large spike in supply, sending May 2017 active listings up to┬álevels not seen since 2012
  • This rapid increase in supply resulted in MoM price declines of approximately 5-13%
